Canada imposes 173% double anti-tax on Chinese mattresses

According to reports, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has recently made a preliminary anti-dumping and anti-subsidy affirmative ruling on mattresses originating in or imported from China, deciding to impose provisional anti-dumping duties and Countervailing duties.

Among them, the temporary tariffs payable by 11 Chinese companies, including Foshan Suilong Furniture Co., Ltd., totaled 23.01% to 163.48%, and the temporary tariffs payable by other exporters totaled 173.36%. It will make a final ruling on October 5, 2022, and issue a ruling issued by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on November 4.
