U.S. furniture retail sales fell 0.7% month-on-month in September, building materials fell 0.4%

After seasonal adjustment, the retail sales of furniture in the United States fell by 0.7% month-on-month in September, while the unadjusted data increased by 1.5% year-on-year. Overall retail sales in the first nine months of this year increased by 7.2% year-on-year. The retail sales of building materials and gardening supplies fell by 0.4% month-on-month and increased by 9.2% year-on-year.
