After seasonal adjustment, the retail sales of furniture in the United States in September decreased by 0.7% month-on-month, while the unadjusted data increased by 1.5% year-on-year. Overall retail sales rose 7.2% year-on-year in the first nine months of the year. Retail sales of building materials and gardening supplies fell 0.4% month-on-month and rose 9.2% year-on-year.
