According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to October, the total retail sales of furniture nationwide was 129 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.2%; the total retail sales of construction and decoration materials was 150.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%. Looking at the month of October, the total retail sales of furniture nationwide was 14.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%; the total retail sales of construction and decoration materials was 17 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%. It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, the total retail sales of furniture in the country have declined year-on-year for 10 consecutive months.
