U.S. report: Furniture was the only manufacturing industry that lost money in May

ISM said that the purchasing managers' index of the US manufacturing industry in May was 56.1%, an increase of 0.7 percentage points year-on-year, and the overall economy achieved 24 consecutive months of growth. Among them, the order backlog index was 58.7%, and the inventory index was 55.9%. In May, 15 U.S. manufacturing industries reported increases compared to April, the only one reporting a decline was the furniture industry.
