On June 9, the General Administration of Customs released the import and export situation from January to May 2022.
According to customs statistics, from January to May this year, the export value of furniture and its parts was 185.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%; the export value of ceramic products was 74.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; the export value of lamps, lighting devices and their parts was 112.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.6%; the export value of textile yarns, fabrics and their products was 400.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
From the perspective of a single month in May, the export value of furniture and its parts was 40.47 billion yuan (the export value in April was 38.51 billion yuan), an increase of 5.1% from the previous month; the export value of ceramic products was 18.16 billion yuan; lamps, lighting devices and their parts The export value was 24.88 billion yuan; the export value of textile yarns, fabrics and their products was 89.84 billion yuan.

Overall, in the first five months, China's total import and export value was 16.04 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.3% over the same period last year. Among them, the export was 8.94 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.4%; the import was 7.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7%; the trade surplus was 1.84 trillion yuan, an increase of 47.6%.
